The Career Center is back at (ISC)² Security Congress, and this year it’s hybrid! Open October 10-12, the Career Center will offer on-site and virtual events on the first two days, with the final day reserved exclusively for virtual sessions. In Vegas, the Career Center will be just outside of the Expo Hall in the Octavius Ballroom at Caesars. Virtual attendees can find the Career Center in the online conference space alongside the sessions. Registered attendees will receive an email with the appointment registration open date, anticipated for two weeks prior to Security Congress.
The Career Center, produced by ClearedJobs.net, will feature presentations from speakers with expert inside knowledge that can help you kick-start a cybersecurity career or enhance your skills to take that next step in your journey. Whether you are looking to get back to basics with interviewing techniques or improve your presentation skills, we have helpful information for you on transitioning your career and crafting your career path. Our speakers include seasoned career coaches, ex-military personnel and security executives who have been selected not only to share their years of expertise but also their passion for the industry.
The on-site Career Center will offer one-hour presentations and opportunities for scheduled one-on-one meetings. Based on your feedback, we have added an emphasis for those transitioning from the military to the private sector this year. The Career Center schedule is now included in the main agenda, complementing the Security Congress sessions, so you don’t miss a moment of the excellent content.
Our experts will also be on hand to help you polish up your resume and support questions you may have about what it takes to succeed in cybersecurity. They will also host roundtable discussions on topics relating to cybersecurity careers where you can share your thoughts and listen to others’ experiences about how to shape your cybersecurity career.
The Career Center is open to industry professionals from all levels, those starting out in cybersecurity or those looking to change careers and are interested in learning more about how to advance.
