(ISC)² has had the honor of celebrating leaders in cyber, information, software and infrastructure security since 2004. The 2017 Americas Information Security Leadership Awards (AM-ISLA®) are now open for nominations. We can’t wait to hear about your latest achievements, so please tell us about a cybersecurity leader whose work deserves recognition by the industry and by their peers.
The categories for nomination are:
- Information Security Practitioner
- Senior Information Security Professional
- Up-and-Coming Information Security Professional
- Community Awareness
The deadline to submit is June 7, 2017 at 11:59pm EST. Nominations and awards are open to (ISC)² members and non-members alike. Winners will be announced, and celebrated, in front of 1,500 attendees at the 7th annual Security Congress. The conference, and award ceremony, will take place at the JW Marriott hotel in downtown Austin, Texas. The ceremony is open to all Congress attendees – those with an all-access pass, and those attending only Tuesday’s sessions – and will include a plated luncheon.
The Americas ISLA program is held annually in cooperation with the (ISC)² North American Advisory Council and Latin American Advisory Council. The awards recognize outstanding leadership and achievements in the field of cyber, information, software and infrastructure security. Celebrating the achievements of leading industry professionals is always among the highlights of our annual Security Congress event.
Finalists will also be featured in the (ISC)² member magazine, InfoSecurity Professional, which will be distributed at the event.
