(ISC)2 board candidates

I'm not 100% au fait with ISC2's board election process but as I understand it the sitting board proposes a bunch of candidates, while the general membership can propose their own "independent candidates" as well. If you aren't into nepotism and fancy the idea of fresh faces at the top table, you might like to consider supporting some of the independents who need endorsement from at least 500 members in order to qualify and get their names onto the ballot papers.
