As 2016 begins, many people start setting professional development goals for the year. With travel budgets often limiting the ability for professionals to attend in-person training and events, online webinars offer a convenient, cost effective way to learn. Whether you’re looking for ways to expand your knowledge by earning continuing professional education credits or you’re searching for information on topic areas you’re unfamiliar with, (ISC)² Secure Webinars feature security experts from around the globe discussing today’s best practices and challenges in cyber, information, software and infrastructure security.
In 2015, we offered a total of 42 webinars – that’s nearly one per week. Late last year, we announced a new dedicated resource for professionals in the EMEA region called EMEA Secure Webinars. (ISC)² launched the platform to feature regional industry experts and to host webinars during a time that is convenient for those in EMEA. We also held a webinar, Securing Privilege Accounts: A New Approach to Stopping Advanced Attacks, during the APAC region’s time zone to encourage more international participation. In addition, we launched another webinar series called Inside (ISC)² that features various personnel within the organization to allow members and nonmembers alike to ask questions to staff. This is part of our effort to provide more transparency to the (ISC)² membership.
We’ve compiled a list of the top 10 (ISC)² Secure Webinars of 2015 based on the highest ratings from attendees. The top 10 include (be sure to allow pop-ups in order to view each webinar):
