This month, four seats on the (ISC)² Board of Directors will be filled by qualified volunteers who will join the rest of the board to provide governance and oversight for the organization, grant certifications to qualifying candidates, review and approve proposed new credentials or changes to existing credentials, and enforce adherence to the (ISC)² Code of Ethics.
Board members determine policies, develop procedures, and provide strategic direction for (ISC)². Members of the (ISC)² Board of Directors serve three-year terms, which are staggered so that one-third of the board stands for election each year. This provides continuity of leadership and stewardship. Board members also act as evangelists for the organization and the (ISC)² mission.
