    I would include that management should develop a close relationship with their employees as well, to hopefully prevent disgruntlement from even growing.

    Employees aren't the enemy here. A disgruntled employee probably has a reason for developing a sense of disgruntlement. Not always, but I think too often it is a result of poor management or a mismatch in employee-manager personalities.

    Besides, how often will HR counsel that an employee can be terminated or demoted because they are deemed "disgruntled?" Does that really work as an official reason?
